In addition to welder systems, Emmedi has also increased competences and skills in the design and manufacture of customized solutions for seam annealing and in-line bright annealing equipment. In-line heating systems complete the full range of products line.
Other processes offered are coating, upsetting and swaging.
With a solid affiliation within the Ajax TOCCO group of global companies, EMMEDI can offer extended global solutions by using hot bending and stress relieving processes.
Induction heating is anyway the preferred heating method for bending larger thick-walled pipes used in the chemical and power generation industries.
Wind Energy and Ultra Large Bearings
For more than 20 years SAET EMMEDI has developed a highly recognized expertise in large gear and slewing ring hardening solutions. The continuous research and many patents has kept SAET EMMEDI at the cutting-edge in seamless technology. SAET EMMEDI uses a four head heating system for slew bearings specified without a soft zone. A wide range of applications have been industrialized over the years with vertical and horizontal scanning machine configuration both for tracks and gears up to a part diameter of 8 meters.
SAET EMMEDI has also pioneered high power single shot hardening machines up to 2500 mm diameter and 2500 kW power.
